There are 2 types of poster presentations:

E-Poster Discussions: Abstracts selected for this category will be available electronically at the E-Poster stations.  A designated date and time for presentation will be assigned to each abstract. You will not need to print and bring to Brussels a paper poster. It will be essential for you to prepare your E-Poster in time and upload by September 10, 2019.

Poster Display: Abstracts selected for this category will be available on poster boards (Exhibition area – Grand Hall 1) in 2 shifts. Abstracts selected for Poster Display are also required to upload their posters electronically. The posters will be available for viewing at the E-Poster stations throughout the Meeting. There is no designated time for presentations in this category.

Please check the Meeting app or the poster help desk onsite for the board number on which you should place your poster. Presenters are requested to stand by their posters during the coffee breaks on their shift for informal discussions.

Note: All Meeting Participants will have the opportunity to view the abstracts via the Meeting’s website and the Mobile App during the Meeting. Your E-Poster will also be available for viewing on the large electronic screens in the E-Poster Area at the Meeting venue. Please check Mobile app for E-Poster viewing hours.

SHIFTS

Shift 1: Thursday, September 19, from 10:00 till 17:00. Posters can be mounted from 07:15 on Thursday, September 19 and must be removed by the end of scientific sessions (18:45).

Shift 2: Friday, September 20, from 10:00 till 17:00. Posters can be mounted from 07:15 on Friday, September 20 and must be removed by the end of scientific sessions (18:10).

POSTER SHIFT 1

Thursday, September 19, from 10:00 until 17:00.

POSTER SHIFT 2

Friday, September 20, from 10:00 until 17:00.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

• Orientation: PORTRAIT.
• Poster board size: 1 m width x 2.5 m height. It is recommended that your poster is no larger than 90 cm wide x 120 cm high. (Portrait style).
• Preparation: Posters may be prepared on one sheet (preferred method) or alternatively on several smaller sheets.
• Design:

1. Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors as stated on the submitted abstract.
2. The text, illustrations, etc should be bold enough to be read from a distance of two meters.
3. You may use a template that can be downloaded here.

Double-sided tape will be available in the poster area for hanging of posters. Staff will also be in the poster area to assist you.

The organisers are not responsible for any posters that have not been removed by the end of the sessions on the day in which they have been scheduled.

Deadline for uploading your E-Poster: Tuesday, September 10, 2019.

E-Poster registered presenters will receive a dedicated link to upload their E-Posters by email after August 26, 2019.

• Language: All E-Posters should be prepared in English.
• Template: Please submit your E-Poster as a 1-page .pptx file in portrait orientation via the link you received in the email. You may use a template that can be downloaded here.
• File format: .pptx
• e-Poster size in pixel: 1080 width x 1536 height – portrait orientation
• e-Poster size in cm: 38,1 width x 54,2 height – portrait orientation
• Font size: ≥16

In case you wish to add a video to your poster, please keep these requirements in mind:

• File format: .pptx only
• Video formats: .mp4, .mpg, .avi
• Max. file size: 50 MB
• Max. number: 5 videos
• Sound: not supported

Please note that all posters with videos will be automatically converted from .pptx to .pdf format, but the videos can still be played. Hyperlinks, animated images and animations are not supported for E-Posters.
